Here’s What A Toddler Thinks Of Your Hotel: Lancaster Hotel Manila Edition

I gave my nephew a taste of the suite life.

This is my nephew Jarvis. He’ll be turning 2 in a couple of months. He likes cartoons, toys, and naps. Sadly, we don’t get to hang out as much as I would want to. So when the good people over at Lancaster Hotel Manila extended an invitation to stay for the weekend, I decided to bring him and the rest of the family along. Here’s what happened:

After exchanging pleasantries with the nice staff at the front desk, we were escorted up to the Two Bedroom Deluxe Suite Loft Type on the 27th floor. It features a spacious living room, dining table, a mini kitchen, a refrigerator, two bathrooms, and a laundry area.

We were offered Lancaster Cafe’s signature Chef Bowls. I tried the beef steak, while my mom got the chicken salpicao. We would’ve tried more flavors, but the little man wanted some fried chicken so we ordered in. Thanks to the room’s fast and reliable Wi-Fi Internet and direct dialing telephone we figured out our orders and called up the nearest fast food chain immediately.

After dinner, we hung out and watched some TV. The adults wanted to watch their network dramas, but the kid had other plans. Good thing, Mom distracted him with a mobile phone.

Before the night ended, we went to the rooftop area for a quick dip in the pool. The cool water and the sparkling Ortigas District lights made up for the warm summer evening.

After a few more shenanigans, it was lights out for the little dude in his comfy double bed. I guess he had a good time. I know I did… and I’m definitely crowning myself uncle of the year.
